Many of us feel that we have the right to be
angry
jealous
judge
hold grudges
blame
criticize
insult etc
However we have to ask is it healthy?
There is healthy anger,for example
"I am angry with myself for not being more sensitive,I resolve right now to improve that"
There is healthy jealousy,for example
"I am jealous of his achievements ,it just goes to show that hard work pays off,I know I can do it to"
However in general all these feelings and attitudes negatively impact and many times block positive peak performance
1.Not staying angry does not mean one is not upset about a certain issue and not motivated to deal with it firmly,
Even when one feels one is standing up for justice ,getting and staying angry for example prevents clarity of thought and positive productive focus.Intensity and duration would determine just how much anger blocks ones positive peak performance power
2.Holding grudges simply holds one back,unnecessary energy and attention are diverted and block to a certain extent a persons positive peak performance power
Learning to let go,unblock, see and consider alternative positive,effective options,accessing different but just as effective feelings,states of mind etc promotes and fosters positive peak performance unleashing its true power on and in your life.
Remember it is in your interest..you can only chase a peak when you are clear as to what you positively seek
