Its important to realize that in general there is no such thing as " I have no choice"
Even if someone was holding a gun to your head ,G-D forbid,you could choice to pay the price for not giving in to that person,as horrendous as that may be/

Even if someone is blackmailing you ,G-D forbid, it is a still a choice to give in, it may be a tragic one , but still a choice

So even if at times you make bad choices,or do things you know you should not at the very least stop using" I have or had no choice" and use rather " I am choosing to do this because____"
If you do this , at times you might stop yourself making that bad choice or at least you will make sure you know that you always have a choice and thus your road to redemption is always open and that change is just a choice away
