There is not much more liberating than doing what's right unconditionally without judgement or expectation but with eyes wide open.For then you are free of ego, not waiting for a quid pro quo, not looking for approval,honor,recognition etc just doing the right thing unhindered making the world a better place because of you.The funny things is that the more you do this the more recognition,money,love etc pursue you in accordance with your true needs.....in other words wholeheartedly doing G-d's will
