Has technology ,all the brilliant advances,the inventions etc solved societies woes,true, the advancements in medicine help us live longer physically but we hear of many at the pinnacle of health who drop dead for no reason.Is there less suicide?less greed? less murder ? less crime?less jealousy? less corruption? less succumbing to base temptation ? are people more at peace with themselves,more relaxed?happier? etc etc...some would say we are worse off today..all the gadgets have just filled our day with more fleeting things to do..instead of appreciating all the many gifts,miracles and beauty
So if true happiness after these many millennia has not been found in the material how about we enlist the material infuse it with the holiness it was meant to have and use it in our bid to invest in that which is not fleeting that which is eternal,that which gives us true strength bring blessing ,light and true goodness into this world and the next ,giving Hashem(G-d)Malchus(kingship) in every area of our lives thus making that part of Hashem..that "speaking spirit" with which Hashem gives life to us all starting with Adam shine true..Are you brave enough to change direction?
