I wake up in the morning to serve my Creator
Its always Now and never later
There is the pull to hit the "snooze"
But then I know I always lose
My pillow shouts" stay down its what you love!!"
I say no I want whats up above
I get up to embrace the morning light
To fight that which tries to keep me in the night
I thank the Lord for returning my soul
I face the day Divine and whole
