The Torah preceded NLP et al by at least 2000 years as it says in Ethics of our Fathers(Pirkei Avot)
"Who is wise,he who learns from everyone"

That is why even the greatest Torah scholar is called a Talmid Chacham ,a wise student
because this is the ultimate achiever mindset , with this mindset you are never complacent, you are always learning and therefore always growing becoming a constantly better version of you even with all the knocks because someone who is always learning ,thirsts for learning always gets back up---That is the stuff you are made of
